Today I'm thinking a lot about change. About how to release parts of ourselves and embrace new habits, lifestyles and experiences. I seem to be asking myself a lot more frequently lately, "What path am I on?" and "What comes next?" A clear sign that something...whether big or small...isn't working, or just doesn't feel right. Putting a finger on what that is exactly is always the hardest part.
This week I will spend some time bridging the life I am currently living and the life I am dreaming of. It's time for transition. In fact, I'm in the process of revamping my nutrition and this week the focus is Release. I think that makes this a perfect time for purging my closets once again, cleaning up my home and work space, and some good ol' fashion emotional "letting go". I want to feel lighter and more prepared. I want to feel set up and ready for change or inspiration...or whatever may come my way.
What is one thing you would like to release from your life this week? Here is an exercise to help you decide...Picture yourself at one side of a bridge and on the other side is the lifestyle, the career, or the relationship that you have been dreaming of. All you have to do is release the object you are holding on to and walk across. What do you feel is holding you back from taking that first step? Now, let it go.
